Munchkin is comfortable kids clothing for newborn baby’s to Toddlers and even kids up to the age of six. The concept was born, shortly after the birth of my little girl Amaliah... like any good mummy business is.

It emerged in winter when I couldn’t buy what I wanted to dress her in, so I took to making her a pair of purple polar fleece pants with stars on her bottom. They were the perfect pair of pants because they were snug in all the right places with a flair at the bottom, they were fun, easy to put on and take off and above all they were warm, guaranteed.

So as my fun with fabrics evolved, they fetched compliments from everywhere, so I stepped it up and began making them for everyone else’s children. The rest has been an organic process of growing with her legs and getting more interesting things happening for boys clothing after the birth of my little boy Eric Drue, giving boys access to some soft and exciting colours.

The completion to the range has been the long sleeved T-Shirts with environmental messages. At a time when the health of our environment is of primary concern, who best to send a message out there about our planet but our children. So I embarked on printed T-Shirts to compliment the range. They are all long sleeved T-Shirts of course to be safe in the sun.

I am based in Sydney so the styling tends to be safe though a little brazen, but definitely never overdressed. It’s warm in winter and cool in summer. All pieces are machine washable and uncomplicated. Even though this suits Sydney to a tea, it’s very suitable and deliverable to anywhere in the world.
